SNOW DAY!!

In 13 years of public education living in northern Utah I only had one snow day.  It was in fifth grade and we had to make it up on a holiday.  Then I moved to Rock Springs, WY for two years where we didn't have a snow day.  After graduating from Western I moved to Rexburg, ID where I attended BYU-I for two years... no snow day.  Finally I get to my last semester where I am teaching at Rigby High School and I've already had TWO snow days! I don't even have to make them up!  This is what we did today besides me sleeping on the couch while Brandon was in class.

Our snow this morning!

I made cinnamon rolls because that's just what you do on a cold day.
These are before they went into the oven.

After they came out of the oven.  I have to say that they are pretty delicious. :)
Then we played in the snow and made awesome snow sharks.
The first picture is Brandon and the second picture is me... in case you can't tell. ;)

This is me being eaten by the snow.  We have at least 12 in. possibly 15 and even more in some spots I would guess.

A little catch up!

So I realize that I haven't actually posted for a really long time and I'm about a year behind... FAIL.  But it's not like we've just been sitting around either.  Here are some happenings:

My cousin Chris got married to a great girl named Amber!
Which I have pictures of but they happen to be on our external hard drive... which is currently in Utah.

Brandon's brother Nathaniel got married to Audrey! We love her!

We moved in with my Mom for the summer and spent a lot of time with family.  I worked at Brigham Medical Clinic and Brandon worked at ACE Hardware... (PS he needs an internship this summer... mechanical engineering).

Here are some of our summer adventures:

We fed Otters! Thanks Brian!

We went to Moab with some of Brandon's siblings... it was 105 degrees... not something I would recommend.

The Brigham City Temple was built and dedicated!

We went to Colter Bay with Brandon's family.  It was the last time we were ALL together. :(

We went indoor rock climbing with my family.  Yes this is our four year old niece climbing.  She LOVED it!

My mom, sister-in-law, and I bottled 70 quarts of peaches.  Yeah we rock.

Then school started and we moved back to Rexburg.  But exciting things didn't stop there.  In October Jason came home!

... This might be the only picture I have of Jason's homecoming... oops.

In all the in between we bought a car, a couch and Brandon played some Hi-Ho Cherry-O!

Thanksgiving came along and we had lots of fun with family.  And did I mention that's when we found out we are going to be adding to our little family?  Our bundle of joy will be here in July!
Christmas came and we were blessed enough to spend time with both our families.  Now we're back in school.  I'm in Rigby student teaching and Brandon's taking 15 credits of really hard classes.  (You should see his stack of books.)  We're really excited for 2013! It will bring graduations for both of us and a new baby along with lots of crazy and fun adventures.  And just for good measure, because I couldn't resist, one last picture:
