6 Months!!

I can't believe that our sweet little girl is SIX MONTHS OLD!! It's so crazy.  It feels like just yesterday we were taking her two week pictures and now she's half of a year.

Her six month stats are:

Weight: 15 lbs 7.5 oz......45%
Height: 25 1/4 in......30%
Head: 16 3/4 in.........50%
We played in the snow!  She wasn't so sure about it since it kept falling in her face but we got some cute pictures. :)

She loves Daddy time.  The first picture is of them watching something on the computer while eating soda crackers.  It was one of the cutest moments.  I was talking to my Mom on the phone when I turned around and saw them.  I had to take a picture. :)

Taking a bath in the big bath!  She still loves her baths!  She's also sitting up all by herself!  She started to sit up with help at about four months and at Christmas she was sitting up fairly well, only tipping a little bit but now she is pro at it.  She's also working on crawling.  This weekend she discovered she can go backwards pretty well.  I don't know if we're ready for such a mobile baby. :)

She is also getting pretty good at eating solid food.  She likes to feed herself so I just gave her a Popsicle the other day and she loved it!  She's also starting to get teeth so the popcicle probably felt good on her gums.  We haven't seen any actual teeth yet but we can feel them trying to come through.

She sat in the cart all by herself for the first time this weekend.  I'm super happy to know that she can and will be happy because it will make shopping trips a little easier.
Just chillin' out in our Utah State shirts!  Thanks to Grandma Lee and Aunt Brittany for our shirts.

We really love our little girl! Too bad she has such weird parents!

Christmas!

One day I'll be all caught up on this blog thing but for now enjoy some pictures from Clara's first Christmas!

On  Christmas Eve we went to Crystal Hot Springs.  It was Clara's first time swimming and she LOVED it!  She loves the water.  This summer I'm hoping to do a Mom and Tots swim class with her.

Opening presents at Grandma Lee's.  She loves her books and especially the balls.

Last year my sister taught us this silly string game and I guess my Mom loved it because after the presents were opened out came the silly string!  As you can see everyone had a great time.

In front of my Mom's Christmas tree.  Can you tell that she was a little bit tired?

Our stockings at Brandon's parents.  Brandon's Mom has made everyone their own stocking!

Clara got to meet her Uncle Nathaniel and Aunt Audrey in person!
Lynette, Brandon 's Mom, got this little R2-D2 from Brandon's Dad.  It responds to commands and wheels all over the place.  Clara loved him...well mostly she wanted to eat him. :)
In front of the Star Trek/Star Wars tree at Brandon's parents.
Clara really did well with all the changes that we were throwing at her that week and the week before and she seemed to enjoy her first Christmas! :)

Graduation!

December 20th and 21st were big days at our house! (Can you tell that the whole week was a crazy week?)

After four years of hard work, Brandon graduated!  He received his Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering on December 20, 2013!

Brandon's parents and my Mom came up for the ceremony and to help us move the next day!

Oh the many faces of our graduate.

Yay for graduation!

5 months...and a little bit

I can't believe that our little girl is already five months old! (I guess technically she's really 5 1/2 by now).

She is growing and changing every day.  I love watching her discover new things.  She is at that stage where every thing goes into her mouth.  Her fist, our fingers, toys, food, my hair... like I said everything.

As you can see she has great big eyes with super longer lashes.  I love looking down at her lashes when I'm holding her as she falls asleep.

I told you everything goes in her mouth.  But don't worry we do give her actual edible things too.

This is our happy girl.  She loves her exersaucer! (Thanks Derek and Brittany!)  She will spin around and talk and she has the biggest smiles while doing it.

Our little Clara is also getting really good at grabbing things and rolling.  We have to be careful what we put on the floor now because she will roll right to it, grab it, and of course put it in her mouth.

We are so happy to have her in our family and can't wait to see what she'll do next!
