I seriously can't believe our little girl has already been here for a year. I have a lot of pictures so this will probably turn into two posts.... possibly three. So first I'll start with pictures from the last month or so.
Stats:
Weight: 18 lbs 2 oz- 25%
Height: 28 3/4 inches- 40%
Head: 18 inches- 75%
She went up in everything which is good. She has grown so much! I think that every day she is taller than she was when went to sleep the night before.
She is changing every day too. Her personality is really showing and I love it. She can say hi, duck, mama, and dada. I think that sometimes dada means a lot of things but that's okay. She also recognizes animals and makes this cute little growly noise for them.
She loves her sippy cup! She carries it around all day. However, if you have a drink, especially from a can, then she needs some of that too.
Her first curl! Thanks Grandma Lee!
This is her cousin Kedric. These two are seriously best friends. When they're together they follow each other everywhere and share everything, including illnesses.
She still gets into things although it's becoming less and less which is great. She also likes to climb on everything. Luckily she can't get onto the couch yet by herself but if you are sitting on the floor against the couch then you become her ramp.
She's walking everywhere now and runs whenever she can. If you look closely you can see that she has a scratch by her eye and three or four bruises on her forehead. She forgets to pay attention to where she's going. She also loves to put clothes/blankets on her head and run around which results in running into many things.
Her first Fourth of July. The first picture is with her Uncle Jason. The second picture is of us waiting for the fireworks to start. Clara actually did really well with the fireworks. She would watch and ooh and ahh and then she would crawl around.
I made this tutu for her for her one year old pictures. She hated it on. This is the first time I put it on her and I was trying to distract her with the mirror. Don't be fooled though, she wasn't happy about it being on.
We dressed up like cows for free chicken at Chik-Fil-A. It was great! We also got free slurpees that day too.
She crawled in the laundry basket and couldn't get back out.
Clara loves to watch the guys who come do the yard work every Tuesday. Last week she and the guy lawn mowing had a moment.
We are so glad that Miss Clara is a part of our family and can't wait to see what new adventures come our way!
